Relationship Patterns Quiz
Most of us have a go-to response when relationships feel hard - and we usually don't even realise we're doing it. Or if we do, we don't know how to change it.
See if any of these sound familiar.
When relationships feel hard, what do you tend to do?
I try to fix it straight away
When something feels off, I want to sort it out fast. I might overthink, seek reassurance, or find it really hard to let things go until I know we're okay.
I pull back or shut down
When things get tense or emotional, I go quiet, create distance, or need space. Sometimes I just don't know what to say, stepping away feels easier.
I get frustrated or reactive
When I feel hurt, criticised, or misunderstood, emotions come out strongly - even when that's not how I want to respond.
I keep the peace
I tend to avoid fights, keep my feelings to myself, and put other people's needs first. It's easier to smooth things over than risk upsetting anyone.
