Meet Skye Welbourne

I've always been curious about people. Why we do what we do, and why something can make perfect sense logically and still feel completely different emotionally. Why we repeat patterns and behaviours we know aren't helping us, and what actually helps us change them.

That curiosity is a big part of why I love this work - and why I've continued learning beyond one way of doing therapy. Every person is different, and I want to be able to adapt the way I work to the person sitting in front of me.

If we work together, you'll find I'm calm, honest and down-to-earth. I'll listen and support you, but I won't just nod along either. I'll ask questions, share what I'm noticing and gently challenge you when I think it might help. We'll likely share a laugh at times too.

I don't believe therapy is about endlessly analysing yourself or trying to fix every part of who you are. It's about understanding yourself, working through what needs attention and making changes that help you live the life you want to live now.

My hope is that you leave therapy feeling clearer and more confident in the direction you're heading, with the tools to continue moving forward long after therapy has finished.

Because that's always the goal for me. To help people get what they need... and then go and live their life.
